About TIF TIF vs. Traditional Antireflux Surgery Am I a Good Candidate? What to Expect Clinical Results Safety Information FAQs

Insurance Coverage

The cost of the TIF procedure can vary depending upon your health plan as well as the surgeon or hospital you choose. If you have questions about whether your insurance provider covers the TIF procedure, contact your plan’s representative directly. Some private health plans may require you or your surgeon to submit paperwork for pre-authorization of an elective surgery.

EndoGastric Solutions has a dedicated team of reimbursement specialists available to assist you, your surgeon and your insurance provider in navigating pre-authorization and coverage for the TIF procedure using the EsophyX device.

TIF Authorization Assistance:
EGS offers a full service TIF Authorization Assistance Program for TIF, which includes launching a pre-authorization and pre-determination request. This process ensures the payer reviews the patient's medical necessity and individual health benefits prior to surgery.

External Medical Review:
EGS supports the practice and patient through an external medical review by providing process guidance to the patient, talking points for review and a medical literature archive. For more information please contact us.
