Your natural digestive system keeps you healthy.
DON’T MESS WITH IT.
Reflux occurs when the valve that keeps the contents of your stomach from flowing up into your esophagus stops functioning. Reflux is not caused by stomach acid. It is a chronic condition caused by the esophageal valve not closing properly.
You want to keep the acid. Stomach acid is essential for effective digestion of the food you eat. And it helps you get the most nutrient and protein benefits from your food. It’s there for a reason.

Less acid doesn’t mean less reflux.
Taking proton pump inhibitors (PPIs), like Prilosec® and Nexium®, won’t cure reflux. They help manage the symptoms by suppressing acid production, but the esophageal valve is still not working properly, and PPI use won’t fix it.
“I was held hostage by PPIs for 25 years. Two weeks after the TIF procedure and I had no more need for PPIs. I feel free.”

PPIs for Life?
Not anymore!
Overuse of PPIs increases the likelihood of infections, dementia, osteoporosis, kidney disease and esophageal cancer.
Since PPIs don’t cure reflux, many people find that they are dependent on taking increased doses multiple times per day to get symptom relief.
Available evidence suggests that PPI use is associated with an increased risk of both acute and chronic kidney disease, hypomagnesemia, C difficile infection, and osteoporotic fractures…and are overprescribed.3
Savannah doesn’t take PPIs anymore!
“My last straw was laying on the floor in the bathroom getting sick from just taking my medicines with a glass of water before I went to bed one night. I was just completely over it.”
According to the FDA, OTC PPIs are only intended for a 14 day course of treatment and can be used up to 3 times per year.4
Eventually, your esophageal valve will need to be rebuilt to put a stop to reflux and avoid further damage to your body. With the TIF procedure you now have an effective procedure that’s clinically proven to work.
Waiting is a losing proposition.
Reflux gets worse over time. And your body pays the price. When invasive surgery was the only option, many people delayed taking action. Now with the TIF procedure, there is no reason to allow reflux to wreck havoc on your digestive system, throat, mouth and lungs.
Esophageal Cancer (adenocarcinoma) has increased over 600% in the past 3 decades.5
It is the fastest growing cancer in the US and other western countries.
Acid reflux/GERD is a primary risk factor.5
Symptoms often occur after the cancer has spread.5
There are NO routine or standard screenings to detect esophageal cancer in early stages.5
Frequent, untreated GERD may progress to Barrett’s Esophagus, a condition where stomach acids eats away the lining of the esophagus. Cells that are similar to the acid-resistant cells of the stomach replace the damaged cells. These cells can become cancerous, leading to adenocarcinoma.
“My wife was a lifelong sufferer of reflux…she developed osteoporosis before the age of 50…the TIF procedure was really the best option.”
